True, true. It's not perfect, that's for sure. I figured it has more to do with representing Law and Gospel (though again, it's not *perfect*) throughout Scripture rather than accurately representing each book with it's 'best' verse. If that were the case, the synoptics would all say, 'This is my body' and John would be 'unless a man eats the flesh of the Son of Man, and drinks his blood...' ;-)
Ugh. Sounds like the author needs to read Scaer on Matthew 5:48.
